Meg DrummerHello everyone! I cannot believe we are (kids) four days away from Spring Break!!
We have moved into the last of our units for the 2016-2017 school year. I have updated all of the units by the grade tab. A quick run-through has K, 1st, and 2nd grade diving DEEP into our earth's oceans. As marine biologists do, we will study the various plants, animals, and landforms under the ocean.
The third graders are on a hunt to find out what happened to the Dodo bird, that once lived in plentiful numbers.
Fourth grade is tackling Camp Interdependence...a unit about our national parks, the differences, similarities but mostly their importance to us and future generations as we look back on the history and reasons these natural places have been protected.
Fifth grade will be bringing to life some the 20th century pioneers that have influenced us to this day as we will end our unit with a living museum.
I hope everyone has a wonderful, SAFE spring break!! I will start posting again the week of our return, safe travels to you all!
